CDM2007: History of Modern and Contemporary Design

I was able to enhance my knowledge of the history of modern and contemporary design. The professor gave students an overview as well as detailed examples from around the era of Industrial Revolution to current trends.

In this course, I was dedicated to do a research about an Italian designer Achille Castiglioni and his works to present in front of classmates for the first project and plan an exhibition proposal with his works for the second project.
Inspired by his humble approach to everyday objects and his witty style, I suggested an exhibition that symbolises Achille’s house with heartwarming stories permeated in every object I selected.
