CDM1001: Introduction to Culture and Design Management

This course gave an overview and detailed explanation of not only my major Culture and Design Management but also its interdisciplinary approach with art, culture, design, and technology.

In this course, we had two individual and two team projects.

For group assignments, we were asked to research and present case studies, one time for design principles and our team of 3 chose Colour, and the other time for cultural trends and we chose Street Culture and introduced various aspects of culture including fashion, food, beauty, and sports such as Olympic Games.

For individual assignments, we had to choose one brand that we like and set up a pop-up store using Unity 3D programme including posters and layouts we had created using Photoshop and Illustrator. I chose my favourite perfume brand Acqua di Parma with my interest in the perfume industry.
For the second assignment, we had to draw a diagram of ourselves and state what kind of area we want to focus. In this process, I could figure out what I really want to study more. In conclusion, I found myself to be inclined to art, from the starting point of my university life that has never changed, even consolidated.
