CDM4012: Interdisciplinary Design Management

In this course, students as groups of 5 or 6, were conducting design management programmes. In my team, there was a huge k-pop fan eager to express her enthusiasm and inconvenience as a foreigner to enjoy and participate in various kinds of-pop related events and concerts, so I decided to join her and other teammates as a Korean to help them get and understand k-pop industry contents which are mainly delivered in Korean.
I was focusing on developing the basic information structure and prototype of the app service including colour scheme, logo design, and typeface. Also, I pondered on what kind of service is needed for foreigners whose accessibility is limited, so I dedicated much to choosing contents based on my personal experience and listening to my teammates’.
We in turn made an app service and proposed the prototype along with management chart and specific plans to the professor, classmates, and 3 external judges working in highly-renowned companies in Korea. Among 8 teams, our team gained the first prize as the most successful and collaborative group. Unexpectedly, we received a bottle of whiskey!
